Tracing Place : Augmented Reality Installation

February 26, 2022 by joelzika

Documentation of the Installation ‘Tracing Place’ by artists Lucy Allinson and Michaela McHugh for Geelong Design Week 2022. The work was produced by artistic director Joel Zika and Collide Public Arts who helped combine the artists practice of sculpture, sound, spoken word, photography and painting. The result is an interactive work using an atomised water screen that reacted in real-time to field recordings of the natural environment.
