This work formed part of ‘Botanica : Contemporary Art Outside’ at the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. A collaboration between myself and James Voller from Collide Public Art Initiative. This amazing show presented by the Museum of Brisbane runs nightly May 20- 29th, 2022. We used unique holographic display technology to create these beautiful interpretations of wild banana species (Musa) which used to inhabit this part of Queensland.
